Why meditation creates realization

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

An important consideration regarding realizing God is the question why does Yoga work.

One has to examine the nature of meditation and the knowledge of wisdom to realize that by meditating (overcoming the senses, physical matter, memories, ideas, emotional, inputs and thoughts) the mind overcome, there is only space for the inner self.

Because masters and those who have realized God understand that the Soul (which is God) is found internally (Jesus: “the kingdom of heaven is within”) it should come as no surprise that mastering the mind either through postures (asana), meditation (dhyana) or mastering breath (pranayama) Samadhi which is single focus, superconsciousness, and yoke or linking to God the inner Soul occurs.

It is this silencing of eternal, internal, and even metaphysical “stuff” which occurs through Samadhi that allows for realization and witnessing of the internal true self (God).

There are a mutitude of ways to incorporate style of Yoga into daily life. Yoga pranayama (breathing), meditation, and postures are some of the most useful and powerful ways of realizing God.

One simple approach is to wake up 30-45 minutes early. Do some postures, pranayama, and meditation. Either go to bed later, or before going to bed do another series of pranayama and meditation.

Deep focus and meditation leads to Samadhi (the superconscious and breathless state) the conscious reality and realization of God.

What are you?

Monday, January 25th, 2010

Some feel they are the body. Some the nature of divinity. Others expressions they bring to life. Higher beings, the Soul.

It is the nature of your true self, the soul that your are not only energy, divinity but also consciousness.

Your true doer which you can be found through self realization by nature also is your real identity. When you begin to identify yourself with the soul, spiritual and metaphysical abundance begin to fall into place.

Does one have to be god loving and fearing to understand the nature of the Soul. Truly when the mind accepts knowledge of something greater than yourself you already are moving in the correct direction. Even if you do not ascribe to religion, the nature of understanding that there had to have been causation even if it was initiation of the Big Bang, in addition to the understanding the the cosmos had a template or holding which allowed expansion, demonstrate the everpresence of Source.

A simple technique to understand your true source is to ask yourself, am I the headache? Am I the thirst? Am I the pain? Am I the sleepiness? Answering this, one has to understand that because you are not any of those things you must therefore not be the body. Aside from the body there is only the consciousness which gives you life.

It is that essence or consciousness which one truly has to be. Mastering this meditation (Abstraction of what you are) leads to embodiment of the Soul. Deepening it leads to becoming the Soul, and higher still divinity and Godliness.

Chakra Meditation

What is the single best way to open chakras? In what way can you become more divine? Is there a tried tested way to master all chakras?

Can something be said about chakra meditation? Chakra meditation is the way to open and then activate chakras. The chakras which are metaphysical and psychometaphysical storehouses of spiritual and conscious energy are found at eight human body locations.

Chakra Meditation

Chakra Meditation

The location of chakras are (coccyx, sacrum, mid low back, heart center, throat center, third eye/brow, and crown or top of head and feet) found in certain areas of the back and feet. What you may ask is the process of opening these metaphysical locations. Meditation.

Meditation or allowing consciousness and spiritual energy or kundalini to move through from base (coccyx) up through each subsequent chakra is the only way to allow consciousness to expand. Why is this important. Conscious wills expansion. As the cosmos is moving to expansion (remember that the cosmos and God is consciousness) so too the soul (God and your divine cosmic source or Soul) also reflective and built in the image of God, also wants expansion.

What does it mean to have your chakras open? Chakras that open bring with it new expansion of ideas, creative ability, health, spiritual powers, divinity, and even cosmic influence.

Two quick ways to open the chakras are Kriyas (pranayama) and meditation. One effective pranayama is to sit comfortably, roll the tongue up and backward to the back and top of the throat, breathing in slowly and controlled while mentally counting up as high as breath allows. The expiration (also mental counting) should be twice as long as inbreath.

In this way you will circulate consciousness and open chakras, activating them, and allowing consciousness to expand. After or even on its own, do some simple mindful meditation (allowing all thoughts, memories, feelings, sensations, ideas, emotions or any other thought form to pass through the mind without attachment) which is by far alongside kriyas is the second most powerful chakra meditation.
